How to deactivate Inbound Calls per IP on phones (Yealink or Zoiper)

Phones can have the default option to receive IP calls.

This can lead to the following:
  • third party phone attacks through SIP (viruses)
  • receiving calls on the phone from another PBX server ("ghost calls" from atypical Caller ID's, such as: 10, 100, 1000, 10112 etc.)

To avoid these situations, we recommend that you deactivate the option in the web interface of the Yealink / Zoiper phones.

E.g.. Yealink: Features -> General Information -> Allow IP Call (Disabled ) & Accept SIP Trust Server) Only (Enabled)
