How to automatically transcribe your phone calls (Speech-to-text)

Any call recording can be converted into text format in a few minutes, with a transcription accuracy of 95%-99%.

For the automated transcription of call recordings (through Vatis Tech), it is necessary to request the activation of the option at .

Once the Speech-to-text option has been activated, you can generate transcriptions as follows:

1. Manual transcription, selecting the desired recording:

  • Go to Reports :: Call Detail Records, select the desired call and click on Transcribe

  • The audio file will be converted in real time, once the transcription has finished generating, click on View

  • The transcript of the call is also sent by email, together with the link to the CDR audio file.
    The transcripts remain available in the PBX GUI (Reports :: Call Detail Records) and are accessible via API.

2. Automatic transcription, for all recordings in the PBX, can be activated on request.

The reliability of the Speech-to-Text service in the on-cloud system is the responsibility of the subcontractor Vatis Tech S.R.L. Vatis Tech on-cloud API uptime statistics can be accessed in real time at: https://vatistech.statuspage.io/.
The deadline for resolving technical issues involving Vatis Tech API will be assessed by Vatis Tech S.R.L., which will respond to While1 Software's support requests.
