Attention!¶
The GUI Password is the password used to access the PBX administration interface and is different from the SIP password required for the phones to function.
Due to its sensitive nature, the GUI password is encrypted, and is not displayed in the administration interface or stored in the database.
The GUI Password cannot be viewed by While1. It can only be reset and automatically sent to the user via email..
Entering an email address ( Settings :: Users :: Edit User -> Email ) is mandatory for every user with access to the PBX administration interface (GUI Login enabled), as it is required to reset the GUI password.
